We are looking for a Merchandising Analyst under the leadership of the Senior Vice President of Merchandising - PLT, who will be responsible for providing analysis to support the execution of Merchandising Strategy across all passenger and light truck brands. This person will work cross functionally across Merchandising and with functional partners in Finance, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, and Pricing. This position plays a key role in informing the Vendor Strategy for the overall enterprise.

 What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Support the Merchandising team with analysis that will inform a vendor strategy and assist the Brand Leadership team in executing that strategy
  • Own and maintain the Vendor “Performance Review” (Scorecard)
  • Maintain inputs to the GMROI model to drive brand, style, and SKU decisions
  • Work with the Advanced Analytics department to create and leverage a Vendor Bonus optimization engine
  • Perform ad hoc analysis based on requests from the Brand Leaders and the Vendors to identify what’s driving results (both favorable and unfavorable) in sales, margin, or inventory.
  • Assemble the monthly Brand Review presentation to senior leadership
  • Produce required on-going set of daily/weekly/monthly reports
  • Assist in creating Merchandising content for Board of Directors presentations (or similar)
  • Meet departmental standards for quality, quantity and turn time expectations.
  • Prioritize multiple responsibilities to ensure all deadlines are met, and resolve any issues in a timely manner by partnering with appropriate business partner(s).

You will need the following to succeed at ATD:

At a minimum:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related business discipline (Business, Marketing, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Economics)
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in vendor management, planning & analysis, or merchandising analytics
  • Systematic problem solver who understands the value of leveraging analytical insights to drive innovative solutions
  • Experience with analytical tools such as Power BI, BI, Tableau, ThinkCell, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills
  • Strong ability to collaborate with multiple departments and functions
  • Demonstrated decision-making ability
  • Demonstrated leadership ability
  • Ability to partner and influence
  • Highly effective written/verbal communication and collaborative skills

It’d be great if you also have:

  • MBA
  • Merchant and/or Manufacturing experience
  • Experience in the Tire industry
  • B2B and B2C experience
