Position Description: 

The Director of Marketing is responsible for managing and executing marketing strategies across the ATD portfolio of brands. The Director of Marketing will be responsible for developing online and offline marketing initiatives, tracking performance with responsibility for delivering exceptional ROI. The Director of Marketing will assess organization wide marketing capabilities and develop a new marketing toolkit for ATD and the automotive services industry at large. The Director of Marketing will lead marketing across B2B and B2C marketing channels. Success in this role means developing new marketing platforms that drive increased revenue, increase return on ad spend, enhance customer retention and ultimate resonate with customers and consumers. The Director of Marketing will collaborate with the Director of Customer Experience and other key stakeholders across the organization to bring the new marketing strategy to life.



Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development of content and marketing strategies that drive brand recognition, promote compelling messaging, and result in increased customer activity and leads.
  • Oversee the management of marketing channels, leveraging internal and external resources, ensuring brand messaging is aligned and consistent across the channels for maximum effectiveness.
  • Partner with the Digital Marketing team to help oversee the execution of all web, social media, SEO/SEM, marketing database, email (A/B campaigns), blogging and display advertising campaigns using platforms such as: company websites, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Google+, etc.
  • Identify and oversee the management of projects that add or enhance content on ATD’s marketing channels that increases relevance, engagement, and ultimately goal completion.
  • Collaborate with marketing leaders on proof of concept efforts to establish new marketing opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external content providers, editors, designers and developers to ensure digital strategies meet business and franchisee needs while aligning with ATD’s brand strategy.
  • Create the strategy for acquisition of new customers and manage their lifecycle through various marketing channels.
  • Oversee timely B2C and B2B marketing campaigns to drive leads for participating and increase engagement and loyalty to the brand.
  • Work with the analytics team to understand performance of all marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).

Qualifications



Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of relevant Marketing experience – across both business-to-business and business-to-consumer channels.
  • 5+ years of management experience.
  • 2+ years hands-on experience with Google Analytics, Facebook and YouTube Analytics / Insights.

Preferred

  • Experience within the retail or tire distribution industry.
