Position Description: 

ATD is hiring a Health & Wellness Manager who will provide support in the administration, management, and promotion of ATD’s health and wellness plans. The Health & Wellness Manager will provide partners and associates excellent customer service to help administer the health and wellness programs and promote a culture of well-being. The Health & Wellness Manager will serve as a subject matter expert for healthcare plans and programs.



Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the design and administration of all benefit offerings
  • Handle escalated issues related to the health plans, partner with various resources to resolve
  • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations applicable to employee benefit programs and Leaves of Absence including but not limited to COBRA, ERISA, HIPPA, ACA, FMLA and PDL
  • Coordinate and maintain relationships with brokers, carriers, and legal counsel to ensure benefit plan documents are up-to-date and compliant
  • Provide company-wide insights and analytics including participation, cohort and claims data to determine ROI
  • Provide aggregate results and determine geographical areas/locations to target for improvement, identify new opportunities and pilot programs
  • Support Health & Wellness initiatives by partnering with the Culture Team to drive engagement in personal wellness across the organization
  • Promote Health & Wellness programs, preventive benefits and other programs that make us a Great Place to Work
  • Ensure associate benefit inquiries and claims are handled efficiently; provide excellent customer service to the associate population. 
  • Gain buy-in from senior leadership, inform key stakeholders of program initiatives and partner with businesses
  • Work with the HR Team on projects and initiatives
  • Partner with Corporate Communications to manage benefits communication and marketing

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, required; Master's degree is a plus
  • 5+ years’ experience in benefits; knowledge of compensation is a plus
  • Good knowledge of local legislation as well as Health Care Reform
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, and establish relationships
  • Analytical and creative problem solving skills; strong attention to detail
  • Strong verbal communication skills; ability to facilitate presentations
  • Familiarity with ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, DOL, and IRS regulations, required
  • Knowledge of benefits plans, including eligibility requirements and plan content and design
  • Extensive experience working with HR systems; preferably Workday and advanced skills in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, & Outlook
  • Ability to perform work that is routine with a strong attention to details
