Position Description: 

Primary responsibilities include assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of a security and loss prevention management system, and partnering with operational managers to investigate losses and recommend action.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee effective implementation of and maintain / strengthen security management system for distribution center / fleet delivery environments
  • Assist in identifying/implementing site security measures and investigation protocols
  • Lead high profile security / theft investigations, and coordinate lower level investigations using local / site resources
  • Coordinate with law enforcement to drive thorough incident investigation and prosecution
  • Assist in management of Security / LP service provider(s) related relationships and projects
  • Assist in development/application of physical / administrative controls to prevent and reduce inventory shortage
  • Assist in development of procedures, training presentations, work practice documents, compliance assessments, tools, etc.


  • Associates degree in Criminology or related discipline and minimum of 5 years facility experience in the field of security / loss prevention management.  Experience with distribution center / delivery type environment preferred.
  • In depth knowledge of investigation / interrogation techniques (Certifications)
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with modern Microsoft Windows Office software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook email

  • Physical demands
    • Ability to sit, stand, walk for lengthy periods of time.
    • Ability to use a computer and peripherals (mouse, keypad, etc) for lengthy periods.
    • Ability to train / give instruction to large groups of people
  • Travel required
    • Scheduled - Approximately 25% via car / air throughout United States and International, with stayover
    • Unscheduled/Emergency – Infrequently / as needed to support emergency situations
