Position Description: 

The primiary and ultimate responsibility of this role is to be the overall lead for Procure-To-Pay (P2P) and contract compliance processes, the P2P Manager will establish and enforce corporate standards to ensure consistency and maximize efficiency of the P2P function. This includes responsibility for all P2P components of the Ariba solution. Key deliverables of this role include growing ATD’s spend under management through increasing our enabled and transacting spend across the Ariba supplier network, responsibilities in this role will include, designing and continually implementing optimal P2P channels for indirect categories and associated suppliers, identifing and/or implementing process changes to improve the overall efficiency/effectiveness of P2P, supervise Ariba Analyst and mange outsourced Application Management subscription, partner with Category Managers to ensure contracted suppliers are enabled and transacting in Ariba P2P, consult with A/P, IT and other business functions on any Ariba system or process related issues,and develop and implement P2P policies that support increasing our total spend under management.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design and continually implement optimal P2P channels for indirect categories and associated suppliers
  • Identify and/or implement process changes to improve the overall efficiency/effectiveness of P2P
  • Supervise analyst and mange outsourced Application Management subscription
  • Partner with Category Managers to ensure contracted suppliers are enabled and transacting in P2P
  • Consult with A/P, IT and other business functions on any system or process related issues
  • Develop and implement P2P policies that support increasing our total spend under management
  • Complete understanding of P2P functionality inclusive of catalogs and invoice against contract
  • Experienced in business process ownership
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical competency
  • Ability to establish, maintain, and grow relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and suppliers at all levels  
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

Experience(s) that Best Prepares You:                                

  • Education:  Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline
  • Experience:  Two plus years of experience leading an Ariba procure-to-pay solution and associated business processes
  • Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the company, in its discretion, may find appropriate and acceptable.

  • Work environment:  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • Travel required:  10+% of the time, travel throughout the US and will require overnight stays.
