Position Description: 

The Manager of Sales Initiatives and Program Management plays a key role in the Sales Center of Excellence and is responsible for supporting all field touchpoints involving manufacturer programs and ATD marketing programs . This includes: Monthly/Weekly program updates & talking points, program/promotional reporting and analytics, supporting field sales contests and all field sales initiatives. This role also responsible for creating and sending all communications coming from the Sales Center of Excellence.

Primary Responsibilities:

Support Manufacturer Programs and Promotional content including reporting and analytics.

  • Assist in creation of new promos, incentives, Dealer Download and Talking Points
  • Create and manage program prospecting and compliance tools
  • Update monthly manufacturer one pagers and weekly promo incentive summary
  • Creation and ongoing maintenance of Consumer Rebate Guide
  • Dealer equity statements

Develop field sales communications and field sales communication tools:

  • Work to develop the “one source” for information
  • Oversee and coordinate the Sales Literature section of CRM
  • Collaborate with Marketing to communicate promotional calendars
  • Communicate new incentives, consumer rebates, program changes, etc.
  • Support all communications driven through the Sales Center of Excellence.

Collaborate with Director of Marketing and SVP- Sales Operations on ATD promotions and contests.

  • Support all promo and contest activity driven through the Sales Center of Excellence.
  • Support Circle of Champions communications, tracking and inquiries.

Works with Marketing and SCOE Team to support all sales initiatives.

  • Support Activate with ongoing training and communications
  • Manage all Sales Force Effectiveness marketing program/promo needs
  • Play active role in the roll out and constant refinement of the SFE model

Experience(s) that Best Prepares You:

  • Education: College Degree preferred
  • Experience: Leading a high-performing sales operations function, successfully designing and deploying initiatives in sales organizations
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience
  • Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Company in its discretion may find appropriate and acceptable

Physical Demands/Work Environment/Travel Requirements:

  • Work environment:  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • Travel required:  40% of the time, with travel throughout the assigned region and may require overnight stays. Travel could include both automobile and air travel.
