Position Description: 

The Inside Account Specialist (IAS) position will be fully dedicated to serving Torqata Data and Analytics, LLC, American Tire Distributors’ advanced analytics and customer intelligence arm. The person who joins in this role will be an important player in the growth of Torqata while driving customer satisfaction. The IAS – Torqata position will get the chance to make an impactful difference both within our Torqata and for our clients. Come and help us shape the future of the Tire Industry!



Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct essential CRM Account Management project work for Torqata in Salesforce Essentials
  • This includes Opportunity Creation, Case Validation, Account Creation and Management, handling Customer Software Agreements, Managing Leads, and driving proper Torqata account flags that enable CRM Dynamics integration for the rest of ATD
  • Provide best-in-class customer support for both prospective and existing customers via email, Salesforce Cases, appointment-based office hours and occasional outbound calls
  • Assist Product Commercialization Manager with identifying key customer process challenges, and generating Salesforce.com based solutions and process automations
  • Act as tiered support for high-severity customer issues through coordination with Torqata’s technical teams
  • Provide effective oral and written status updates on customer signups and customer ticket resolutions
  • Communicate customer issues and feedback to appropriate ATD colleagues

Qualifications



Required

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university or equivalent work experience required
  • Experience: Experience working with computer systems.  Demonstrated decision-making ability. Ability to partner and work collaboratively. Written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated attention to detail.  
  • Knowledge of tire retail store operations including shop and retail counter management and key profitability drivers
  • Proactive management of responsibilities
  • Strong Microsoft Office suite and Salesforce.com skills
  • Work collaboratively across teams, functions, departments, and business units to coordinate effective solutions and deliver timely and accurate results.
  • Communicate Effectively:  Communicate clearly and concisely and adjust communication style to improve performance.
  • Demonstrate Respect:  Handle all business matters ethically and in full compliance with American Tire Distributors “Code of Conduct”.
  • Be Accountable for Results:  Assume full responsibility for the consequences of one’s behaviors, decisions and results.


Candidate Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, ability to multi-task.
  • Work collaboratively with other Torqata team members to provide effective customer service and Salesforce.com issue resolution
  • Communicate clearly and concisely verbally and in writing.
  • Intellectual curiosity and drive to complete 4 online courses per year in Advanced Analytics topics
