Position Description: 

The purpose of the Hercules Brand Manager role is to drive regional unit sales of Proprietary Products including Hercules, through effective training, merchandising, marketing and product positioning with independent tire dealers in a defined geographic territory who are signed to the Hercules Power Program. The Hercules Brand Manager serves as brand ambassador for the Hercules product line. Likewise, the Hercules Brand Manager serves to educate dealers and their associates on the collective value proposition of Hercules and further serves as subject matter expert for all aspects of the product line. The Hercules Brand Manager will review and assess the effectiveness of ATD field sales activities and will identify training, merchandising and marketing support required to increase sales of Hercules products. The Hercules Brand Manager will provide effective merchandising and marketing assistance to HPP dealers to grow and sustain unit sales of Hercules products.



Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serve as brand ambassador for the Hercules product line.  Educate dealers and their associates on the collective value proposition of Hercules and Proprietary brands in general, and serve as subject matter expert for all aspects of the product line.
  • Review and assess the effectiveness of dealer tire sales activities. Identify training, merchandising, and marketing support required to increase sales of Hercules products.
  • Provide effective program knowledge, product training, and sales training to Hercules dealers, provide effective merchandising and marketing assistance to Hercules dealers.
  • Help Hercules dealers to navigate ATD processes.
  • Develop account strategies to grow and sustain unit sales of Hercules products.
  • Gather business intelligence and share with partners in the field and at the field support center, attainment of Hercules unit sales goals to Hercules Power Program Dealers within the respective sales region.
  • Support efforts of field sales colleagues to assist in the recruitment of independent tire dealers to the Hercules Power Program.
  • Support all brand marketing and dealer events relative to Hercules, which may occur over a weekend.
  • Employ business development tools (including Professional Selling Skills and CRM) as provided by the Company.
  • Participate in the development of the annual business plan for the market and the brand.
  • Collaborate with Region Presidents and their teams to develop sales strategies that will grow revenue and profit. 
  • Work closely with the Region Market Specialist team to support tactical plans that set clear objectives, drive and monitor correct attitudes and behaviors, and foster local cultures of performance management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Business (or other related degree programs).
  • 10+ Years of B2B/B2C sales and marketing experience / strategic sourcing / procurement experience, performance measurement, contract negotiation, project management, category management, business analysis, change management experience
  • Proven track record in delivery of complex, cross-functional procurement initiatives on-time and on-budget
  • Strong organizational skills, pay attention to detail and be multi-task oriented
  • Strong people management, development and coaching experience
  • High degree of ethical practices and capability to oversee effective practices across the organization in dealing with suppliers
