Position Description: 

This Data Loss Prevention Security Analyst is a data loss prevention expert that has responsibility for the daily monitoring and maintenance of the enterprise Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions. The main duties of this role is to include proper care and administration of the environment and to monitor and respond to alerts that are generated from DLP related tools. This role will interface with analyst, management operations, network operations, infrastructure, business leaders, legal, HR, risk management, etc. This position is responsible for actively protecting the entire digital environment within ATD.

This position has a wide expanse of key relationships. A critical must from this role is strong, relation management, and collaboration competencies across our entire enterprise functions, customers, and valued partnerships.



Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, implement, and manage DLP technology solutions; design and implement policy and process for the enterprise related to DLP programs.
  • Administer and manage the DLP tools including configuring policies and required reporting.
  • Deliver periodic analytics and reporting to executive management.  
  • Monitor and respond to alerts generated from DLP systems and other technologies.
  • Support and respond to incident response events, and support escalation processes as required.
  • Demonstrate expert capabilities in conducting data discovery functions across multiple platforms and systems.
  • Supports DLP policies and use cases across Data-in-Motion, Data-in-Use, and Data-at-Rest. 
  • Conducts investigations and reporting of data security events and incidents.
  • Assist with remediation and root cause of environment during or after a security event or incident.
  • Escalates events according to the defined DLP triage workflow processes.
  • Document events and write comprehensive reports of events and investigations as required.
  • Develops support procedures and performance metrics and reporting.
  • Executes testing plans to ensure quality of implementation.
  • Develop roadmap with a focus on emerging risks, themes, prioritization; support country & regional laws, and along with industry regulations as required.
  • Monitor and report progress of regulatory corrective action plans to senior management.
  • Be responsible for establishing strong working relationships with IT, HR, Legal, Compliance, Finance, as well as other Business and Risk Management teams.
  • Analyze latest technology scorecards and prepare executive summary reports for management to highlight emerging security risks/concerns.
  • Perform and report on trend analysis, identifying opportunities for process improvements.

Qualifications



Required

  • College or university degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent combination of industry related professional experience and education.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Loss Prevention Security expert
  • Expert experience in developing enterprise-wide processes and standard work
  • Hold at least 2 Cyber Security Certifications (CCFP, GSEC, CISSP, CRISC, CISA, CISM, or other)

Technical

  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Expert ability at managing cyber security incidents and conducting forensic investigations.
  • Advanced understanding and demonstrated skills abilities across the multiple security domains and OSI model.
  • Ability to conduct analysis of multiple data sources.
  • Knowledge of security related compliance requirements (PCI, HIPAA, SOX, and Security best practices).

    • Analyze information and detect trends and patterns.
    • Logically group and organization information and tasks
    • Initiate and monitor actions to investigate and resolve problems in systems and services.
    • Assist with the implementation of agreed remedies and preventative measures.
  • Penetration Testing (PENT)
    • Execute an investigative strategy.
    • Identify cause and effect relationships.
    • Review and validate penetration test results.
