Position Description: 

The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for designing data enabled solutions and E-commerce analytics, that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions based on relevant findings. Collaborating closely with key stakeholders, this role will help enable informed decision making through insight and analysis, influencing, and bringing new innovative ideas and recommendations to advance the viability of the reporting in operating the business. This is an exciting opportunity to assist ATD in making data management, data science and data governance an integral part of how the company executes data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct data and business analysis to identify gaps, new opportunities, correlation in data and recommend improvements
  • Provide Technology Product owners, CDO, and Regional Sales Presidents with specific and current analyses of retail customer buying habits, using Google Analytics, Power BI and SQL to communicate prescriptive solutions.
  • Manage analytics across web channels including the measurement and analysis of website performance to improve the customer journey and optimization
  • Utilize strong technical and computational skills coupled with the ability to code, design, develop, and deploy sophisticated applications using advanced unstructured and semi-structured data science techniques
  • Develop data visualizations and dashboards that are not only informative, but guide decisions with predictive and prescriptive features
  • Work with product managers and stakeholders in prioritizing business and information needs
  • Proactively analyze data to increase quality as it relates to accuracy, completeness, consistency, integrity, timeliness, conformity, and validity
  • Analyze conversion lifts, commercial impact, and customer insights
  • Ensure a high standard of data integrity through accurate and relevant tagging and tracking
  • Have a strong sense of urgency and provide timely solutions for enabling agility in decision making
  • Making sense of ambiguous requirements and determining level of depth appropriate to balance timeliness vs. thoroughness of a given request
  • Develop automated reporting suites and eye-catching dashboards, ensuring suitability for relevant stakeholders

Skills & Competencies:


  • Advanced level experience with Power BI, Power BI Services and SQL is a must have
  • Firsthand experience with B2B and B2C E- Commerce Analytics is desired
  • Experience in working with Google Analytics and Content Square is a plus
  • Experience in building queries, stored procedures and reports using Snowflake and Google Big Query
  • Strong experience in analyzing data and conveying the story through powerful data visualization
  • Experience in developing, maintaining, and collecting structured and unstructured data sets for analysis and reporting
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with diligence and accuracy


  • Excellent critical thinking skills, with prior experience in solving complex business challenges
  • Effective communication and partnership skills, and collaboration across multiple teams in a matrixed organization
  • Solid experience of Software development lifecycle, best practices, and coding standards
  • Ability to work with little to no supervision and be initiative-taking
  • Be able to prioritize, manage expectations, and deliver in a very demanding environment with a lean team

Experience and Education:

Experience:  At least 5 years of experience in building analytic solutions – data models, reports, dashboards, and analysis. 
Prior working experience with domains like Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing or Finance will be a plus.
Be knowledgeable about industry trends, best practices.

Education:  Bachelor’s degree in computer systems related field required. MS in Computer Science or MBA preferred.
