Position Description: 

The primary responsibility of the Software Engineer is the development and execution of the overall delivery QA process with a focus on test automation. Specifically, we are seeking a QA professional with experience testing ERP Financial applications (P2P, OTC, GL, preferably in Oracle EBS). Ensure the development process is adhered to and all artifacts and documents are gathered and completed, coordination of delivery process with other IT teams, creation, modification, validation, execution and evaluation of software test scripts, coordination of the QA process with non-development partners, identification, selection and implementation of testing tools, validation of all documents, required approvals and processes related to software development, analyze and perform automated regression testing for applications, development of manual and automated test plans, development and maintenance of a Requirements Traceability process and communication of test process results with analysts, business leads and developers. This role requires regular on site attendance at our Huntersville, North Carolina Corporate Headquarters

RESPONSIBILITIES

Contribute to development of existing and new applications by analyzing and identifying areas for modification and improvement. Contribute to development of new applications to meet customer requirements.


Applications Software Maintenance | INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY/DIGITAL | SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION

Monitor, identify, and correct straightforward software defects to maintain fully functioning applications software.


Design and Conceptualization |  PRODUCT  DEVELOPMENT  |  PRODUCT  DEVELOPMENT

Produce multiple concepts and prototypes to design digital products/services.


Websites/Portals Maintenance and Update | INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY/DIGITAL | SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION


Design and oversee the functionality, usability, and accessibility of business-critical portals/websites using content creation and management tools as well as digital media to ensure that technical continuity is maintained and development standards are met.


Technical Developments Recommendation | INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY/DIGITAL | BUSINESS AND SYSTEMS ANALYSIS

Discuss and recommend more complex or innovative technical developments to improve quality of the website/ portal/application software and supporting infrastructure to better meet users’ needs.


Application Software Roadmap | INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY/DIGITAL | SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION

Define and maintain a road map to facilitate application software development and ensure the development work is prioritized in line with business requirements.


Faults Diagnosis and Correction | INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY/DIGITAL | END USER SUPPORT

 

Provide fault isolation and resolution for complex challenges to limit and address issues promptly.


Technical Database Support | INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY/DIGITAL | END USER SUPPORT

 

Design distribution of database resources and provide physical modeling and design services to tune database applications for optimum performance.
