Position Description: 

The primary responsibility of the Senior Quality Assurance Analyst is the development and execution of the overall delivery QA process with a focus on test automation. Ensure the development process is adhered to and all artifacts and documents are gathered and completed, coordination of delivery process with other IT teams, creation, modification, validation, execution and evaluation of software test scripts, coordination of the QA process with non-development partners, identification, selection and implementation of testing tools, validation of all documents, required approvals and processes related to software development, analyze and perform automated regression testing for applications, development of manual and automated test plans, development and maintenance of a Requirements Traceability process and communication of test process results with analysts, business leads and developers.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Validation of all documents, required approvals and processes related to software development
  • Perform and analyze regression testing for all applications

  • Development and maintenance of a Requirements Traceability process
  • Test case definition and execution
  • Trace and review deliverables vs. their commitment dates.
  • Coordination of proper test resources with other IT teams
  • Assess and communicate risks discovered in test execution and analysis
  • Communication of test process results with analysts, business leads and developers
  • Effective delivery of test plan development and execution
  • Thorough tracking of test results and bug fixes
  • Accurate schedule estimates for test development and execution processes
  • Effective coordination of testing process and defect resolution
  • Delivery of stable, properly functioning software to internal and external customers
  • Assist in the tracking and coordinating of projects to provide on time delivery.

Experience(s) that Best Prepares You: 

  • Education:  Minimum associate’s degree; bachelor’s degree from four-year College or University preferred.
  • Professional Experience:
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience web software testing
    • Minimum of 5 years total testing experience
  • Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Company, in its discretion may find appropriate and acceptable.

Key Competencies:

  • Significant experience designing, implementing, and executing automated testing frameworks and automation scripts
  • Extensive experience in test preparation and test execution activities including manual/exploratory testing.
  • Strong working experience in Waterfall, Agile, iterative, and hybrid methodologies
  • Experience in testing web applications (preferably SAP Hybris) and SOAP/REST web services.
  • Experience in DevOps and CI/CD frameworks
  • Strong expertise in functional automation tools – such as UFT, Selenium, Protractor, etc.
  • Experience with testing frameworks and tools – such as Test NG, Maven, JUnit, etc.
  • Strong experience in API testing using SoapUI or other tools.
  • Experience in any programming languages, preferably Java, VB scripting, etc.
  • Experience with databases – such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, Mongo DB, MySQL and MS Access
  • Experience using Application Lifecycle / Test Management tools – such as ALM, qTest, JIRA, etc.
  • Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD tools – such as Jenkins, Git etc.
  • Deep level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
