Position Description: 

Product Manager, TireBuyer will facilitate, and drive building and execution of feature and functionality roadmap for The role holds responsibility to collaborate with leadership team to drive the strategic vision of the product and work with technology team and extended ATD IT team to bring new features and functions to life in an agile manner.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Recommends the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements, appraising new product ideas and/or product changes.
  • Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.
  • Facilitates agile sprints for all features/functionality development for by accurately creating and documenting user stories, epics etc. for extended technology and other teams to develop these features/functionality
  • Brings new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development programs; preparing return-on-investment analyses; establishing time schedules with applicable business units.
  • Take full ownership of maintaining the product roadmap in coordination with leadership and other extended teams
  • Defines and deploys new product features and functions by developing time-integrated plans with applicable business units including product positioning, coordination of product launch, and monitoring of product/service performance.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Builds effective relationships between technology, marketing, other functions, and internal/external service providers.
  • Provides effective communications across all IT and business stakeholders.
  • Conducts user acceptance testing.

  • Education:  Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree, in Computer Science or a related engineering field.  
  • Experience:  Minimum of 5-7+ years of experience working in software delivery as a product/program manager.


Candidate Skills and Competencies


  • Diverse experience leading significant projects in a hybrid role spanning business analysis, project management, change management/implementation, process improvement, and technical leadership
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to be able to collaborate cross functionally across IT/Development and Business teams to gather requirements, improve story writing, create documentation, and introduce new process improvement opportunities across the entire Agile development lifecycle.
  • Demonstrates strong technology industry background in software, hardware and networking environments.
  • Working knowledge of tools such as B2C eCommerce systems, SAP Hybris, Oracle ERP, Listrak etc. is desired.
  • Possesses experience with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
