Position Description: 

The primary responsibility of the Offline Sales & Service Representative is to drive the highest possible customer satisfaction for customers who purchase from Tire Buyer. The position will increase revenue for Tire Buyer while also increasing overall customer satisfaction. Other primary duties include assisting customers with questions online, assist team with offline work such as creating and tracking RMA's and courtesy credits will be expected to achieve and exceed targets and maintain high customer satisfaction scores as calls are monitored.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers with questions online primarily via chat and email.
  • Manage all returns and warranty servicing on behalf of all of our customers.
  • Answer a wide variety of tire and wheel based questions.
  • Process courtesy credits on behalf of all our customers using Oracle, System Z, CyberSource, PayPal and eBay systems.
  • Back up telephone coverage may be required in cases of high call volume or absences.

Experience(s) that Best Prepares You: 

  • Experience:  1+ year of selling and/or servicing tires or wheels
  • Call Center Experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers of all levels of tire expertise from novice to enthusiast in writing and on the phone
  • Ability to handle multi task as chats can happen up to 3 or 4 at a time

  • Work environment:  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • Travel required:  10+% of the time, travel throughout the U.S. and will often require overnight stays.
