Position Description: 

The Marketing Communications Manager will play a key role in content creation, brand, social and other performance-based marketing activities. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, work independently and you are motivated to drive results. You balance strategy and execution with a focus on speed. You are a leader and a doer. You are proactive and excited about finding new opportunities to grow your channels, and you are on trend when it comes to social media. You care about customer experience and use data to drive your decisions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the testing, development, and execution of digital marketing initiatives that directly impact brand awareness, customer acquisition and retention.
  • Direct ownership of brand, content, social and PR – including the creation of the overall strategic plan and the daily execution of tasks. Use creative and analytical skills to extract channel insights and turn them into actionable changes that will drive sales.
  • Partner with teammates to build the content calendar and create unique campaigns that align with seasonality and promotions.
  • Lead our social media initiatives including the overall strategy and tactical; this includes creating and publishing content on all social media platforms, measuring success and improving.
  • Create and develop messaging for the website and other marketing channels.
  • Regularly conduct creative tests across channels, and work with the team on optimization of creative, landing pages and site experience to drive conversion.
  • Manage public relations and work with an external agency to tell our brand story.
  • Continually analyze the competitive landscape and consumer trends.
  • Regularly share learnings and opportunities with key stakeholders across the team.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years relevant marketing experience.
  • Outstanding communication skills (written and oral)
  • Strong critical thinking with a bias toward action
  • Expert analytical skills, you pull your own data and make decisions based on findings
  • Excellent project management skills
  • You are highly self-motivated and have strong work ethic and ability to prioritize your work based on the biggest opportunities.
  • You are results-oriented, and you can push through roadblocks to get things done.
  • You are a natural collaborator and you build great relationships with others
  • Expert in social media advertising across major platforms
  • Knowledge of marketing automation, SEM and SEO
  • Website analytics (Google Analytics)
  • Content marketing experience
