HR, Project Specialist

We are looking for an innovative self-starter with the initiative to learn new processes while working independently to join the Human Resources team. The Human Resources Project Specialist will support across the HR Team and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. One of the key responsibilities of the HR Project Specialist will be curating the HR digital systems to drive a fully integrated associate journey through the HR Digital Ecosystem enabling our People-First strategy.

 What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Curate the HR digital ecosystem by leveraging data to succeed - both transactional and operational.  
  • Possess the analytical skills necessary to make sense of data sets and understand what story the data tells and where it has the potential to provide input to performance improvements.
  • Makes recommendations proactively to management for improvements to various projects, tasks and objectives. 
  • Create and manage project and operational priorities and project schedules for strategic goals and project tracking and delivery.
  • Performs complex, diverse and advanced administrative duties involving frequent exercise of independent judgment, initiative, and diplomacy. 
  • Ability to creatively and effectively convey ideas through verbal and written communications and to describe business problems and their solutions to management in a concise and timely manner.
  • Act as the point person for issues and questions regarding the HR systems and partners with the HRIS Team as needed.
  • Build, test and validate assignments, groups, and security permissions.
  • Generate reports to monitor training compliance, program participation and provide to HR Business Partners to use with client groups.
  • Uses exceptional problem-solving, critical-thinking and customer-service skills.
  • Take initiative to stay current on latest products, system releases, processes, and industry trends.

You will need the following to succeed at ATD:

At a minimum:

  • Bachelor’ s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Technology or related field
  • Ability to carry out position with a high degree of autonomy
  • Commitment to high quality customer service and teamwork
  • Strong analytic, problem solving and collaborative skills
  • Ability to identify problems and follow through until resolution
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, work independently and collaborate with team members
  • Excellent communication skills including writing and speaking and presentation
  • Experience with computer software including MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, MS Word required
