Position Description:
The Inventory Solutions Analyst will be responsible for executing key portions of projects within the Inventory Planning and Replenishment Organization. This role will participate in planning, designing, and implementing new systems or changes in existing systems. The Analyst will participate in design and development of inventory management metrics and reports to support the business needs, and will play a role in business process documentation, design and improvement. Additionally, the analyst will be responsible for leading key inventory management improvement initiatives and provide key data driven insight and resolution recommendations. This person will be charged with completing multiple initiatives against aggressive schedules. This role will work across functional groups to coordinate efforts and ensure success.
Key Responsibilities:
- 30% - Provide ad hoc business analysis, metrics, and reporting to support business needs
- 25% - Analyze, identify and implement opportunities and corporate initiatives for improvement that have measurable dollar impact each year
- 20% - Participate in cross functional projects by developing project plan, timeline, and coordinating teams across each operational area. Ensure on time delivery of specific goals and requirements for inventory management projects
- 15% - Documents Business Requirements and processes in a standard format and maintains project plans, issues, risks and related documentation
- 10% - Executes test plans with IT
Skills & Competencies:
- Ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Access and Excel (Visual Basic and/or SQL experience a plus) Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Provide ad hoc business analysis, metrics, and reporting to support business needs, Model System Solutions and Scope the system, Design and develop inventory management and systems training as required
- Leads cross functional projects by developing limited portions of project plans, timelines, and coordinating teams across each operational area. Ensure on time delivery of specific goals and requirements for inventory management projects
- Analyze, identify and implement opportunities and corporate initiatives for improvement that have measurable dollar impact each year. Documents Business Requirements and processes in a standard format
Experience and Education:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required, bachelor’s degree from 4-year college or university preferred

- Physical requirements of the role: N/A
- Travel: minimal travel required outside of quarterly team meetings to the FSC as appropriate
Other:
- Reports to Director, Supply Chain Planning Systems, No direct responsibility for supervising others
