Position Description:
The primary responsibility of the Director of Sales, Car Dealer is to increase ATD’s market share within the assigned region. This includes managing the Account Managers and Business Development Managers assigned to their region. This role is also responsible for communicating the channel strategy, supporting customer/vendor needs and attaining budgeted sales objectives.Role Responsibilities:
Achieve region unit volume and profitability goals
Manage performance of the Account Managers and Business Development Mangers assigned to the region
Support development of growth strategies for dealer groups and individual locations
Support development of overall channel strategy, including effective communication within the assigned region
Work with Operations and FSC Teams to overcome field challenges and develop new solutions
Regularly join field team in customer sales calls and events
Play active role in developing and maintaining relationships with key customers
Support and drive all channel, corporate and region initiatives
Manage growth of pipeline and close rate of large volume opportunities
Coordinate meeting and training needs for our vendor partners and customers

Growth of car dealer channel units within assigned region
Measured by:
Unit growth against AOP across assigned dealer group (AOP TBD)
CX Index
Measured by:
CX performance to AOP in assigned region
