Position Description:
Develop and implement a category or product group strategy to improve the supply chain, reduce risk, create competitive advantage and deliver cost savings. Through a focus on product range, offers and how products are brought to market, and in close collaboration with key stakeholders, create product groups that maximize value both for customers and the organization.RESPONSIBILITIES
Category Management
Manage a major category plan/program in line with the organizations’ purchasing/procurement and/or sales strategy ensuring realization of synergies, like cost savings and risk-reduction, and/or optimization of the category profit.
Stakeholder Engagement
Develop stakeholder engagement through identifying stakeholders, finding out their needs/issues/concerns and reacting to these to support the communication
of business information and decisions.
Alliance Management
Manage and structure a major part of the partnership governance, understanding the strategic, operational, and cultural fit between partner companies and putting
processes and tools in place that ensure a smooth integration or a successful alliance execution. Work with guidance from senior colleagues.
Information and Business Advice
Provide specialist advice on the interpretation and application of policies and procedures, resolving complex or contentious queries and issues and enabling others to take appropriate actions.
