Position Description: 

We are looking for a data driven Analyst, Enterprise Performance Management (EPM)to support the planning and financial analysis technology and analytics capabilities to drive business insights and value creation. The successful candidate will help provide data to drive the Enterprise Performance Management vision and have in-depth budgeting and forecasting experience. As an Analyst, Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), you'll actively participate in engagements covering Finance Transformation Strategy & Roadmap, Finance Statement Close & Consolidations, Building Reporting for FP&A, Finance Operating Model build out, Finance & Accounting Process Improvement. 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities 

  • Support development of business intelligence, descriptive and diagnostic analytics tools, including data wrangling and model building 

  • Support of strategically selected business intelligence platforms adopted by ATD (emphasis on PowerBI and Tableau) 

  • Contribute to the creation of a data driven culture and skills and capabilities across ATD Finance to fully leverage data, analytics, visualization and sharing data, information, and insights across the enterprise 

  • Contribute to the improvement of finance function productivity by automating business analysis and intelligence and information sharing 

  • Strong interaction and alignment with and collaboration with the IT and Finance 

  • Partner in creating new process improvement opportunities 

  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs 

  • Direct documentation of business requirements, validation rules, improvement to data flows 

Must Have Requirements 

  • Strong financial modelling experience in Anaplan or similar tool 

  • Strong technology acumen, ability to leverage technology and data to yield business insights and value creation 

  • Strong Excel and Enterprise Planning/Performance Management solutions experience  

  • Explain and visualize what connected planning is and the value it can bring to ATD, help create and deliver on connected planning roadmap 

  • Quantitative methods/analytics-oriented skills (e.g., predictive, Monte Carlo simulation, risk analysis, advanced statistical forecasts)  

  • Generates value-added insights to drive performance improvements and optimize financial functions 

  • Proven ability to collaborate, team, and communicate effectively across teams, borders, business units, functions & departments 

  • Strong problem solving abilities 

  • Have the ability to positively embrace change and understand the impact 

  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate clearly and concisely and adjust communication style to improve performance 

  • Demonstrate Respect: Handle all business matters ethically and in full compliance with American Tire Distributors “Code of Conduct” 

  • Experience working in an agile team 

  • Strong oral and written communication skills 

  • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills, accountability, and project management skills 

  • Ability to work under pressure in a demanding, fast-paced environment and to work under tight time constraints and meet deadlines. 

  • Bachelors  in Finance, Business & Economics, Information Management.

  • Master’s Degree Preferred
